I discovered Lullatone via their BC blog post, though I’ve seen them before in my searches for “ukulele pop”. These really do sound like TV soundtrack pieces; some remind me of the Penguin Cafe Orchestra (eg the “paper plane” one). I’ll be exploring further... :-) Tim Walker

So hard to pick a favourite track for this masterpiece of an album - The American Dollar is one of the first bands that introduced me to post-rock and since then I’ve never turned back.
If you ever feel like you need a soundtrack to life itself: this is that album.
The songs will drift in and out your ears; transient yet leaving a deep impression. Suddenly you will feel enlightened as if you’ve learnt a great secret that was in front of you the whole time. Distant landscapes will beholden and you will arise as if from a dream that will always linger...
In other words: this album was a life-changer and if you’ve read that much: just buy it and dive into your own secret world! Hily
